Low Poly

A 3D art style using deliberately few polygons with flat-shaded surfaces.

Low poly began as a technical constraint of early 3D hardware and evolved into a deliberate aesthetic: few polygons, hard edges, flat colors instead of detailed textures. Its advantages go beyond looks: low poly assets render fast on any device, are easy to modify and age well. Typical polycounts range from under 100 triangles for simple props to a few thousand for characters. On Grab3D, models in the Low Poly style (such as the Low Poly Wolf, Fox, Dragon and T-Rex) are derived from their detailed counterparts: flat-shaded, a few thousand triangles and a tiny palette texture instead of full PBR maps. They belong to the Lightweight tier. Every model card shows a rounded triangle count, and the model page lists the exact number.
