About this model
A precast concrete barrier with the classic New Jersey profile: a low vertical step, then a steep face and a narrow flat top that deflects vehicle wheels. Two slots at the base let forklifts lift it and water drain through, and steel loops at both ends are staggered so neighboring units hook together with a pin, forming a continuous wall. The concrete shows visible aggregate, pores, chipped edges, grime, black tire scuffs and rust stains running down below the loops, like a veteran of many road seasons. Line it up to split traffic lanes, secure construction sites, create checkpoints or build cover in a shooter. Together with the guard rail it forms the heavy road safety set of the Urban Street Kit. Tip: offset each unit by a tiny angle along a curve for a naturally placed barrier line.
