This methane molecule 3D model is the textbook example of a tetrahedron in chemistry. One charcoal carbon atom carries four white hydrogen atoms on short light grey sticks, and every H to C to H angle is the true 109.5 degrees. Two hydrogens point up and two point down, turned so that all four stay visible from the usual front right view. Underneath, the carbon is held by the steel rod of the domed lilac foot that unites the science lab set. The atoms are glossy pastel plastic, and the whole model is one closed mesh with spotless baked PBR textures. Pair it with the CO2 Molecule and the Water Molecule for a small gas lesson. The stand is 9 cm wide, the model is 12.3 cm tall and has 7,520 triangles with 2K maps.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.12 m = 12 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
