This glucose 3D model builds the most important sugar of biology atom by atom. The six membered ring of five charcoal carbons and one red ring oxygen is puckered into the real chair conformation with tetrahedral angles. As in beta D glucopyranose, all four hydroxyl groups and the CH2OH arm sit in equatorial positions, while the five ring hydrogens stand axial. That makes 24 atoms in total: 6 carbon, 6 oxygen and 12 hydrogen. One front ring carbon caps a steel holder standing in a broad pastel purple base, and the ring is tipped towards the viewer so the structure reads well. The model is a single solid mesh with baked PBR textures. Use it for biology lessons on sugar, energy and nutrition. It is 22 cm wide, 24 cm tall and has 15,976 triangles with 2K maps.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.24 m = 24 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
