This piston 3D model pairs a cast aluminium piston with its connecting rod, just as it comes out of an engine. The 76 mm piston has a gently domed crown and three ring grooves filled with steel rings. A polished wrist pin crosses the pin bosses, held by dark circlips on both sides. The forged steel rod uses an I beam shank and ends in a big end with bolt bosses, nuts and a copper bearing shell that adds a warm accent. The part lies on the skirt with the rod resting on its big end, so it sits stable on a workbench without any extra stand. It is about 19 cm long and has 6,076 triangles with 2K PBR textures, a fitting detail next to the crankshaft of this kit.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.09 m = 9 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
