About this model
Broad, calm and unmistakably in charge, this silverback walks toward the viewer on his knuckles, one massive arm planted forward. The long, shaggy hair on the forearms is almost black, while the back and shoulders carry the pale grey saddle that gives adult males their name. A reddish-brown crest crowns the high, domed head, and the face below is bare dark skin with a heavy brow ridge, a broad flat nose and a serious, steady gaze. The chest and upper arms show defined muscle under thinner hair. The pose reads as a patrol or an approach, which suits jungle expeditions, zoo scenes and documentary shots. Hair strands and skin detail make the model strongest in renders, cinematics and close-ups, and a base for your own LODs. Tip: light the face from slightly above to accentuate the brow and make the gaze more intense.
