Few animals make a threat display as memorable as a hippo, and this one is mid-yawn: the enormous jaw gapes open to show a pink mouth, a pale tongue and long lower tusks. The barrel-shaped body rests on four short, stumpy legs, with small ears and eyes perched high on the head. The palette mixes dusky grey-brown on the back with rosy tones on the belly, cheeks and inside the mouth, all laid out as clean flat-shaded facets. Lightweight geometry and a tiny palette texture keep it ready for real-time use in safari parks, river levels and zoo builders. Tip: half-sink it in a water plane so only the head and open jaw break the surface for a great ambush moment.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (2.14 m = 214 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
