About this model

A white rhinoceros stands firmly on four pillar-like legs, its long head hanging low so the big front horn nearly points at the ground, a smaller second horn just behind it. The heavy body with its shoulder hump and deep skin folds is translated into large, blocky facets that suit the animal's armored look perfectly. Dusty mid greys dominate, with darker tones in the folds and a slightly warmer grey on the horns. The compact mesh and tiny palette texture keep it ready for real-time use in safari scenes, strategy maps and zoo games. Because it is so sturdy, it also works as a charging hazard or a mount in stylized adventures. Tip: add a small dust cloud at the feet when it moves to sell its weight.

Good for

  • Savanna herd on a strategy map
  • Charging hazard in an action game
  • Zoo game enclosure
  • Safari tour scene

Engine import notes

Unity GLB · FBX

Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.

Unreal Engine FBX

Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (1.81 m = 181 cm).

Godot 4 GLB · FBX

Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).

Blender BLEND · GLB

Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.

Use it in: UnityUnrealGodotBlender
