About this model
Small, flat and instantly recognisable, this petri dish 3D model brings biology into your lab scene. In front sits an open 9 cm glass dish with a pale yellow agar layer that looks transparent, dotted with round colonies in white, pink, butter yellow, mint and lilac. They are drawn as cute soft domes, clean and friendly rather than messy. Its lid lies next to it with the open side up. Behind them stands a stack of two closed dishes, each lid resting on the rim of its dish, with yellow and mint agar and a few colonies inside. All glass is thin, slightly blue tinted and modelled with real walls and rims. Glass and agar are separate transparent meshes without baking, the colonies use baked PBR textures. Place it next to the Microscope for a biology corner. The group covers 20 by 20 cm, the stack is 3.2 cm high, and it uses 18,400 triangles with 2K textures.
