About this model
The practical city car of the oil crisis years. This 1970s hatchback 3d model is a crisp three door compact of about 4 m in cherry red, drawn with flat panels and sharp edges. Its big tailgate slopes from the roof almost down to the bumper and holds a wide rear window, with a chrome handle below. Round headlights sit in dark square bezels on both sides of a chrome grille with horizontal bars, and the rear shows rectangular lamps in chrome frames. A cream pinstripe runs along each flank, a chrome strip lines the sills, and wide chrome bumpers with black rubber inserts protect both ends. Chrome hubcaps and mirrors finish it off. The hollow cabin holds a pair of front seats, a back bench and the steering wheel. It is older and more chrome heavy than our 1980s Hatchback and our modern Hatchback. Size 4.06 x 1.70 x 1.44 m, 16,438 triangles, 2K PBR textures, wheels rotate.
Good for
- 1970s city street or parking garage
- Retro post-apocalyptic suburban wreck after repainting
- Retro driving school or commute scene
- Traffic filler for open world games

Engine import notes
Unity GLB · FBX
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Unreal Engine FBX
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (1.44 m = 144 cm).
Godot 4 GLB · FBX
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Blender BLEND · GLB
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
