About this model

This rod-shaped bacterium looks like a friendly clay figure, yet every part has a job in a biology lesson. The smooth mint cell wall is dotted with short coral pili, and two long blue flagella trail from one end in gentle waves. A large cutaway window on the side reveals a yellow membrane layer, a dark blue cytoplasm filled with tiny ribosome beads and a tangled lavender loop of DNA at the centre, with a few yellow and orange granules nearby. The soft colours and rounded forms suit explainer videos, e-learning apps and science posters, and the high-resolution surface stays crisp in close-ups and gives you a solid starting point for custom LODs. Tip: animate the flagella with a simple wave deformer and slowly drift the cell across the frame for a lively microscope shot.

Good for

  • Biology explainer or e-learning video
  • Microbiology classroom illustration
  • Science museum or poster render
  • Medical app or infographic hero

Engine import notes

Unity GLB · FBX

Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.

Unreal Engine FBX

Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (0.11 m = 11 cm).

Godot 4 GLB · FBX

Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).

Blender BLEND · GLB

Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.

Use it in: UnityUnrealGodotBlender
