A friendly wooden railing for balconies, galleries and stair landings. A honey coloured handrail rests on a top rail, a bottom rail runs along the floor, and fourteen cream white balusters fill the space in between. The clever part is at the ends: each module carries only half a post, so two railings placed side by side on the grid combine into one complete post, with no doubled wood and no gap. For corners, set a Modular Sandstone Pillar on the grid node and let the railings meet it. One module spans a full 2 m cell at 1.00 m height and is just 12 cm deep, so the footprint is 2.00 x 0.12 x 1.00 m. It uses 1,876 triangles together with 2K PBR textures. Line up as many as you need along a gallery edge or around an open stairwell.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (1.00 m = 100 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
