About this model
The front half of this griffin belongs to an eagle: a white feathered head with a hooked yellow beak and a sharp gaze, a fluffy white chest and scaly yellow legs ending in dark talons. Behind the wings the body turns into a tawny lion with muscular hind legs and a long tail with a dark tuft. Both broad wings are raised, their white coverts fading into golden-brown flight feathers. A bronze breastplate engraved with spirals and a sun disc sits across the chest, hinting that this creature serves a knightly order or a royal guard. Feathers, fur and metal each read with their own texture, which makes the model a strong subject for renders, cinematics and close-ups, and a useful base for your own LODs. Tip: shoot it from a low angle against a bright sky to make the spread wings feel heroic.
