About this model
Lay out a winding stream across your map with this river segment 3D model. Its square footprint is a precise 4 by 4 m, and a 1.5 m wide river runs along its length in a soft bend and reaches the front and back edges perfectly centered, always with the same cross section, so any number of these tiles chain into one long river. The left and right banks stay at a constant 0.3 m, which lets the piece sit next to the Hill Segment, Rock Ledge or Cliff Path without a visible seam. The water is a smooth glossy surface 18 cm above the base, deeper blue in the middle and pale near the banks. A thin strip of sand lines the shore, and bank stones, small pebbles, grass tufts and taller reeds add life. The sides show warm layered soil and the bottom is flat. Geometry stays light at 7,720 triangles with 2K PBR maps.
