About this model
This canyon wall 3D model captures the striped cliffs of the desert Southwest in a soft toy style. Three terraces of warm sandstone step back from front to rear, the lowest about 2.3 m, the middle one 4.3 m and the twin top blocks up to 6.92 m. Strong horizontal layers carve the rock into stacked shelves, and the colour bands alternate between warm tan, peach, a hint of coral and pale sand. A low sandy apron runs along the 8.3 m front, with a few boulders and pebbles resting on it, and dry sage tufts grow on some ledges. The piece is 4 m deep and faces negative Y. Set two copies opposite each other, mirrored, to form a narrow gorge, or line several up for a long mesa. Mesh size is 31,031 triangles, and 2K PBR textures carry the baked layer grooves.
