About this model
Time the swing with this pendulum 3D model. A lilac base plate holds a steel rod, and a boss head with lilac thumbscrews carries a steel arm that reaches towards the front. At its end a steel block carries a white protractor without numbers, marked only with dark degree ticks, plus a steel pin with a lilac knob. A dark string loops around the pin and holds a brass bob with a small eyelet. String loop, string and bob form the object pendulum_bob with its origin on the pin axis, so a single rotation about the Y axis makes it swing while the protractor shows the angle. Stand and protractor carry baked PBR textures. Together with the Retort Stand and the Newton's Cradle it completes a mechanics corner. The base measures 18 by 21 cm, the stand is 45 cm tall with a 22 cm string and the model has 6,512 triangles.
