This mangonel comes cocked and loaded. A sturdy wooden chassis on four spoked wheels with iron rims carries a thick rope torsion bundle, and from it the long throwing arm reaches back, with a round stone resting in its spoon. At the front, a tall A-frame holds a padded stop bar wrapped in coral cushions, and a winch rope keeps the arm pulled down. The arm is its own object with the pivot on the torsion axis, so you can swing it up and forward until it hits the padded bar, while the winch rope can be hidden at the moment of release. The four wheels rotate independently too. It belongs to the Cozy Medieval Kit and makes a great partner for the trebuchet. Tip: spawn the stone as a physics projectile exactly when the arm reaches the stop bar.
Import the GLB with the glTFast package or use the FBX. 1 m in the file = 1 Unity unit.
Use the FBX. The model is built in metres. Unreal works in centimetres and converts on import, so it arrives at real size (2.26 m = 226 cm).
Drag the GLB into the FileSystem dock. Godot 4 imports it directly, with materials. The FBX works too (Godot 4.3+ imports it natively).
Open the .blend directly, or import the GLB via File › Import › glTF 2.0.
