About this model

The space saver among the stairs. Sixteen wedge shaped honey wood steps wind around an anthracite central column and complete one full turn, rising exactly 3.0 m, the height of one storey on the building grid. The top step is widened into a small landing, so players arrive on the upper floor without an awkward edge. Slim balusters carry a handrail that follows the helix all the way up. With a diameter of 1.8 m it fits inside a single 2 x 2 m cell, leaving room for the walls around it. Including the rail, the bounding box is 1.80 x 1.80 x 4.09 m, with 7,560 triangles and 2K PBR textures. Use it where the Modular Staircase Block would take too much floor space, for example in towers, lighthouses, small shops or a loft corner.
