About this model
This bearing 3d model compares the two classic roller bearing types. Standing upright in a yellow saddle is a cylindrical roller bearing of the NU 210 type with 90 mm outside diameter. Its outer ring has two ribs, the inner ring is rib free, and 14 rollers sit between brass cage bars where you can see their round end faces. Next to it lies a tapered roller bearing of the 30208 type with a quarter removed. The red cut faces show the cup, the cone with its guide ribs, inclined tapered rollers and the pressed steel cage, with half rollers right in the section. Every roller touches both raceways. The inner ring of the standing bearing turns with rollers and cage as the rotor object. The Ball Bearing Set shows the ball type.
