About this model
A detailed flywheel 3d model for engine and clutch scenes. The dark cast body carries a bright machined friction face for the clutch disc and, a step higher, the mounting surface for the pressure plate with six threaded holes and three dowel pins. Around the rim sits a shrink fitted starter ring gear with 118 involute teeth of module 2.5 that the starter motor pinion engages. In the centre a raised flange with eight bolt holes mounts to the crankshaft, with a pilot bearing for the gearbox input shaft in the middle. The part is 30 cm across and stands upright on the ring gear with the clutch side toward the viewer. The whole flywheel is a single rotor object turning around its axis. It fits the Crankshaft and the Car Engine from the car parts kit. Size 30 x 3.9 x 30 cm, 19,484 triangles, 2K PBR textures.
