About this model
Spiral volutes make the ionic order easy to spot from afar, and this ionic column 3d model shows them clearly. It stands 3.10 m tall on a square plinth of 0.66 m. Above the plinth follows an attic base with two tori around a scotia. The shaft carries 20 flutes separated by fillets and swells gently through its entasis. Over the necking ring sits an egg and dart echinus, then the volute capital with side bolsters and a thin abacus, 0.84 m wide, its scrolls facing front and back. Two marble tones give the carving depth. The model holds 18,468 triangles with 2K PBR textures, origin bottom centre. Placed on a grid point of the Cozy Ancient Ruins Kit, its plinth covers the footing of the ruin walls. Compared with it, the Tuscan Classical Column has no volutes at all, and the Stone Pillar is a purple dungeon support.
