About this model
On the horizon of a desert map nothing reads faster than a smooth pyramid. This egyptian pyramid 3d model rises from a square base of 36 m with faces at 51.8 degrees, clad in pale sandstone with fine course joints. At the top the casing is missing, so the darker stepped core blocks show through. On the north face, the front along -Y, an entrance with a gabled lintel opens into the stone, and a few fallen casing blocks lie at the foot. A sand apron with drifts and wind ripples surrounds it, which brings the footprint to about 47 by 47 m and the height to 21.5 m. Surfaces stay free of hieroglyphs and statues. With 18,624 triangles and 2K PBR textures it stays cheap as a far off landmark for the Cozy Ancient Ruins Kit. By contrast, the Ziggurat is a stepped tower with a building on top.
